• Hybrid SC to LC Interface: Features an SC/UPC connector on one end and an LC/UPC connector on the other. This facilitates a direct connection between legacy SC-style patch panels or media converters and modern, high-density LC-based switches and SFPs.

• OS2 Single-mode Fiber: Built with a 9/125µm core, optimized for 1310nm and 1550nm wavelengths. It supports virtually unlimited bandwidth, making it suitable for Gigabit, 10G, and even 40G/100G uplinks where signal integrity is paramount.

• Ultra Physical Contact (UPC) Polish: Both the SC and LC connectors are finished with a precision UPC polish (identifiable by their blue housings). This ensures extremely low insertion loss (≤ 0.3dB) and a high return loss (≥ 50dB).
